Privacy Policy
Famewise is operated by Tastewise Inc.. We store only what a Famewise account needs — name, email, phone and a hashed password — and we load no analytics or advertising cookies until you accept them: all four Google consent signals default to denied on every page. What we collect
Two things, kept separate:
- Account details you give us. When you sign up for the Famewise dashboard we store your first name, last name, email address, phone number and a salted PBKDF2 hash of your password. We never store your password itself.
- Analytics about your visit. If — and only if — you accept cookies, we load Google Tag Manager and Mixpanel, which record pages viewed and product events (sign-up, log-in, brand requested) against a pseudonymous identifier. Decline, and neither is loaded at all.
The AI-visibility data on this site is measured from public AI assistant answers about brands. It contains no personal data about you.
Cookies and consent
Google Consent Mode v2 runs on every page with all four consent signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage) defaulting to denied. Nothing measurement-related loads until you press Accept. Your choice is stored in your own browser under the key site_consent and applies across the whole of this site. To change or withdraw it, clear this site's data in your browser and choose again.
Why we use it
Account details let you sign in and let us send you the reports you asked for. Analytics tell us which pages are useful so we can improve them. We do not sell personal data.
Who we share it with
Only the processors that make the product work: our database and hosting providers, HubSpot (CRM — a sign-up creates a contact record so we can respond to you), and, with your consent, Google and Mixpanel for analytics. Each is bound by its own data-processing terms.
How long we keep it
Account records are kept while your account exists and for as long as we are legally required to retain them afterwards. Analytics records follow the retention settings of the provider concerned.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. Email hello@tastewise.io and we will respond. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Frequently asked questions
Does Famewise track me before I accept cookies?
No. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Mixpanel are all held behind Google Consent Mode v2 with every signal defaulting to denied, and the Mixpanel library is not even downloaded until you accept. Declining leaves the site fully functional.
What personal data does a Famewise account store?
First name, last name, email address, phone number, and a salted PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 hash of your password — never the password itself. Signing up also creates a contact record in our CRM so we can reply to you.
How do I delete my Famewise account and data?
Email hello@tastewise.io from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will remove the account record and confirm when it is done.
